Abstract

Zusammenfassung KI-Anwendungen im Bahnsektor werden in allen Bereichen entstehen. Vom Netz- und Fahrbetrieb über die Instandhaltung bis zur Kundenschnittstelle. Erste KI-Anwendungen sind bereits live – dennoch steht die Entwicklung im Bahnsektor erst noch am Beginn. Unklar sind die Effekte von KI-Anwendungen auf die Beschäftigung. Die begründete Vermutung der Autor:innen ist, dass die Beschäftigung qualifizierter wird und mehr Beschäftigung entsteht. Zentraler Treiber sind die Ziele der Verkehrswende und die dringende Notwendigkeit, KI zur Kapazitäts- und Leistungssteigerung im Bahnsektor einzusetzen – und damit mehr Beschäftigung zu erzeugen.
