Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitale Technologien gehen zunehmend eine Symbiose mit unserem Alltagsleben ein und interagieren dabei mit unserer Lebensumwelt. Daher wirken technologische Innovationen in vielfältiger Weise (re-)strukturierend auf soziale Zusammenhänge und sind somit zugleich soziale Innovationen. Dieser Beitrag nimmt daher die Perspektive von Public Health für die Bewertung digitaler Interventionen ein. Dabei wird keine Fokussierung auf spezifische Anforderungen an direkt gesundheitsbezogene Anwendungen aus dem Bereich von E-Health vorgenommen. Stattdessen wird aufgezeigt, dass insbesondere bei der Bewertung mobiler Anwendungen Spezifika der Nutzerinnen und Nutzer und Auswirkungen auf gesundheitliche Chancengleichheit zu berücksichtigen sind.
