Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Anwaltsmarkt ist im Vergleich mit den allgemeinen Entwicklungen und Trends in der Wirtschaft kein besonderer Markt mit eigenen Gesetzmäßigkeiten. Vielmehr wirken die gleichen Mechanismen und Veränderungen auch unmittelbar auf die Kanzleien, womöglich etwas zeitverzögert. Wie fast alle Branchen unterliegen daher auch Anwaltskanzleien dem Veränderungsdruck der Digitalisierung und damit verbundenen neuen Anforderungen und Erwartungen. Kanzleien müssen diesen Trend auch nicht scheuen. Mit Blick auf andere Beratungsbranchen steckt insbesondere in der Automatisierung erhebliches Potenzial. Jede Minute, die Anwälte nicht mit automatisierbaren Aufgaben verbringen müssen, ist gewonnene Zeit für mehrwertschöpfende Aufgaben. Es gilt deshalb, tradierte Prozesse und Strukturen auf ihr Potenzial für Digitalisierung und Automatisierung zu hinterfragen und anzupassen. Um die digitale Transformation in den Kanzleien zu realisieren, braucht es unbedingt zusätzliche komplementäre Kompetenzen und ein passendes Mindset.
