Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit 2006 unterhält Gleiss Lutz ein Team (damalige Abteilungsbezeichnung „Business Projects & Operations“), welches sich darauf spezialisiert hat, das operative Kanzleimanagement auf- und auszubauen. Unter den Bereich „Operations“ fielen insbesondere Prozessstrategien und -optimierungen, die bereits damals weitgehend „digital“ umgesetzt wurden. „Business Projects“ stand für standort- und fachgebietsübergreifende Projekte, zum damaligen Zeitpunkt etwa die Einführung eines globalen Dokumentenmanagementsystems, die Weiterentwicklung des Knowledge Managements oder die konsequente Fortentwicklung des Practice Managements. Über die Jahre hinweg haben sich hier neue und vielfältige Aufgaben angesammelt, wie Digitalisierungsstrategien oder Themen wie Business Continuity und Disaster Recovery (Notfallpläne nebst Notfallübungen, Pandemieplanung etc., die zuletzt durch die COVID 19-Pandemie nochmals in der Bedeutung gestiegen sind).
