Wer kommuniziert eigentlich Digitalisierung?

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag argumentiert für ein neues Kompetenzprofil an der Schnittstelle von strategischer und journalistischer Kommunikation, das darauf abzielt, die Gemeinwohlorientierung und Partizipation an Digitalisierungsprozessen zu gestalten. Ausgangspunkt ist die Feststellung, dass Digitalisierung eine Querschnittsaufgabe ist, die bislang mit deutlich unterschiedlichen Erwartungen und Ressourcen durch Journalismus, öffentliche Verwaltungen und Unternehmen in Deutschland kommuniziert wird. An den Beispielen des Onlinezugangsgesetzes (OZG) und an kommunalen Initiativen im Bereich Smart City/smarte Region werden diese Erwartungen reflektiert und analysiert. Um die Ansprüche an Digitalisierung als ziviler Innovation jenseits rein technischer Probleme zu realisieren, wird daher für ein Kompetenzprofil plädiert, das sich in Lehre und Praxis durch eine Konvergenz von strategischer und journalistischer Kommunikation durch design- und techniksoziologische Ansätze auszeichnet.
