Abstract

Zusammenfassung PropTech ist der Überbegriff für Technologieanbieter, die die digitale Transformation der Immobilienbranche vorantreiben. Sie machen neue technologische Entwicklungen für die Branche nutzbar, oft in Partnerschaft mit den traditionellen Playern der Industrie. Dabei sind sie insbesondere in den Clustern Datenanalyse, Geschäftsprozessoptimierung, Gebäudemodellierung, Smart Real Estate, Construction Tech und Immobilienfinanzierung tätig. Mit zunehmender Digitalisierung werden die Grenzen zwischen traditioneller Immobilienbranche und PropTech verwischen. Immobilienunternehmen entwickeln sich technologisch weiter, erfolgreiche PropTechs werden zu Wettbewerbern und Disruptoren im Kerngeschäft ihrer heutigen Kunden. Auch ist damit zu rechnen, dass die globalen Technologiekonzerne künftig eine Rolle im PropTech Bereich spielen werden.
