Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für die junge Generation wird der Zugang zu Gegenständen und Dienstleistungen zunehmend wichtiger als Eigentum. Im Immobilienbereich trägt Co-Living dieser Entwicklung Rechnung. Co-Living kann definiert werden als Wohnmodell, bei dem Wohnen als Service angeboten wird und in dem mindestens zwei Personen gemeinsam in einer möblierten Wohnung leben und Gemeinschaftsflächen auf Gebäudeebene teilen. Auf der ganzen Welt sind in den vergangenen 10 Jahren entsprechende Angebote entstanden. Der Aufsatz gibt einen Überblick über die Modelle. Die Haupttreiber des Trends werden in den Blick genommen. Darüber hinaus wird gezeigt, dass in der Zukunft eine weitere Ausdifferenzierung und die Etablierung als eigene Immobilien-Assetklasse zu erwarten ist.
