Abstract

Zusammenfassung Risiko ist eine zentrale Komponente unseres alltäglichen Lebens − im privaten wie auf im gesamtgesellschaftlichen Bereich. Durch individualrechtliche wie auch öffentlich-rechtliche Kollektivierungsmechanismen können die finanziellen Herausforderungen beim Management wesentlicher Risiken, wie sie beispielsweise im Kontext des Klimawandels entstehen können, bewältigt werden. Aus diesem Grund werden in diesem Beitrag bekannte Konzepte von Risiko und Versicherbarkeit sowie die damit verbundenen Begriffe und Methoden vorgestellt und exemplarisch auf ausgewählte Risikoaspekte des Klimawandels angewendet.
