Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Klimawandel schadet insbesondere der Wirtschaft, weil Naturkatastrophen und extreme Wetterereignisse erhebliche Kosten für viele Länder verursachen. Deswegen ist der Klimawandel ein zentraler ökonomischer Faktor, der den Zukunftserfolg vieler Länder und Unternehmen determinieren wird. Volkswirtschaftlich gesehen ist der Klimawandel ein klassisches Beispiel für einen (negativen) externen Effekt, der von außen herbeigeführt und von einem einzelnen Marktteilnehmer oder einer Gruppe von Marktteilnehmern nicht beeinflusst werden kann, wobei es hier theoretische Lösungsansätze gibt.
