Abstract

Zusammenfassung Change Management, das in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts zunehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen hat, steht für eine projektorientierte Vorgehensweise bei Veränderungsprozessen, die sowohl revolutionär, top-down gesteuert und technokratisch als auch evolutionär, bottom-up gesteuert und mitarbeiterbezogen gestaltet werden kann, wobei alle Varianten an Lösungen zwischen diesen beiden Extrempunkten denkbar sind. Für nahezu alle Modelle des Change Managements bildet das Drei-Phasen-Modell von Lewin (1947) die Basis. Aufgrund einer immer stärker steigenden Veränderungsdynamik, die ursächlich besonders auf die sog. VUCA-Welt zurückzuführen ist, verlieren aber klassisch projektorientierte Change-Management-Ansätze an Bedeutung, da sie (zumindest in einigen Geschäftsfeldern) zu langsam sind. Managementkonzepte, in denen „Change“ ein integriertes, weitgehend sich selbst regulierendes Element ist, werden wichtiger. Beispiele für derartige Konzepte sind z. B. das Duale Betriebssystem (2015) und die Integral-Evolutionäre Unternehmensführung (2015). Wesentliches Kernmerkmal beider Ansätze und damit zentraler Befähiger für beide ist ein agiles Grundverständnis in den Unternehmen und Organisationen.
