Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Controlling hat sich in der Vergangenheit sowohl hinsichtlich seines Rollenverständnisses als auch seiner Instrumente deutlich weiterentwickelt. So prägen heute unterschiedliche Controlling-Konzeptionen und Rollenbilder die Unternehmenspraxis, gleichzeitig besteht weitgehende Einigkeit darüber, dass sich beides auch aktuell ändert bzw. in Zukunft ändern wird. Vorangetrieben wird diese Entwicklung derzeit massiv durch die Digitalisierung, und zwar sowohl im Hinblick auf das Aufgabenfeld (Controlling der Digitalisierung) als auch durch neue Ansätze für das Controlling selbst (neue Instrumente, Systeme usw.). Neben einer kurzen Skizzierung der diesbezüglichen Entwicklungen im Controlling wird vor allem darauf eingegangen, welche Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten im Controlling künftig von Bedeutung sein werden.
