Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unternehmen sind in Zeiten zunehmender Internationalisierung mit globalen Beschaffungs-, Produktions- und Absatzmärkten konfrontiert. Weltweite Standorte und internationale Verflechtungen haben neben globalen Märkten erhebliche Auswirkungen auf die Führung eines Unternehmens. Aufgrund der führungsunterstützenden Funktion des Controllings ist auch dieses von den Auswirkungen der Internationalisierung betroffen. Vormalig rein nationale Unternehmen finden sich im internationalen Wettbewerb wieder. Dies erfordert die Erweiterung des nationalen Controllings um eine multinationale Komponente. So stellen divergierende kulturelle Gegebenheiten, differente Steuersysteme, Rechnungslegungsnormen und Bildungsstandards sowie ein individuelles makroökonomisches Umfeld unterschiedliche Anforderungen an das Controlling. Diese verschiedenen Anforderungen im internationalen Umfeld erfordern eine spezifisch angepasste Ausgestaltung des Controllings.
