Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unabhängig von ihrer Größe, wird von Unternehmen heute in zunehmendem Maße ein nachhaltiges Handeln erwartet, das sich nicht nur in ökonomischen, sondern auch in sozialen und ökologischen Zielen niederschlägt. Aus dieser Erwartungshaltung erwächst für Unternehmen ein Druck zu einer stärkeren Nachhaltigkeitsorientierung, da diese ihre Legitimität gegenüber Kunden, Zulieferern, Kapitalgebern, Mitarbeitern sowie Politik und Gesellschaft sicherstellen müssen.
