Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag werden die Entwicklungsphasen der Öffentlichen Betriebswirtschaftslehre (ÖBWL) nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg skizziert. Zunächst werden einige Strömungen, die häufig zu den Vorläufern einer ÖBWL als Teildisziplin der Betriebswirtschaftslehre gezählt werden, kurz dargestellt. Danach werden drei grundlegende ideengeschichtliche Phasen der ÖBWL bis zum Public Management beschrieben und analysiert. Abschließend geht es um die konzeptionelle Einordnung des Public Management in den verwaltungswissenschaftlichen Kontext.
