Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag behandelt die Entwicklung der deutschen und der internationalen Fachdiskussion auf dem heute generell als „Corporate Finance“ bezeichneten Gebiet im Verlauf der letzten 60 Jahre. Dabei werden vier Phasen betrachtet. Sie unterscheiden sich hinsichtlich der Annahme darüber, ob der Kapitalmarkt vollkommen oder unvollkommen ist. Diese Annahme prägt nicht nur die Hauptaussagen der Finanzierungstheorie, sondern auch welche Themen überhaupt als wichtig erscheinen. In den ersten beiden Phasen lässt sich noch eine gewisse Eigenständigkeit der deutschen Diskussion erkennen, während sich die deutsche finanztheoretische Diskussion in den beiden späteren Phasen ihre nationale Besonderheit immer mehr verliert bzw. diese bewusst aufgibt.
