Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die deutsche Wirtschaft – und speziell die internationalen und börsennotierten Großunternehmen – hat längst die wachsende Bedeutung des Einsatzes von APIs erkannt. Die folgenden Fallstudien der Unternehmen Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Euler Hermes, Lufthansa Cargo und SDA verdeutlichen, wie unterschiedlich die Wege sein können, die Unternehmen auf dem Weg der digitalen Transformation beschreiten. Sie dienen als Inspiration für andere Unternehmen, die sich selbst auf den Weg der API-fizierung begeben möchten.
