Abstract

Zusammenfassung Risikomanagement hat grundsätzlich prozessualen Charakter, ist demnach kein starres System, welches ein Mal im Unternehmen implementiert wird und dann fortbesteht. Wenn Unternehmen Risikomanagement Systeme nutzen, so dient das der Identifizierung, Gewichtung und Priorisierung einzelner Risiken, der Transparenz der Entscheidungsfindung zum Umgang mit ihnen und einer permanenten Beobachtung und Neubewertung. In diesem Kapitel erläutere ich die vier generell möglichen Umgangsformen mit Risiken, den Nutzen und Einsatz einer einfachen Risikomatrix für die Unternehmenssicherheit und beschreibe die sechs Schritte des Risikomanagements mit anschaulichen Beispielen, die sofort in die Praxis umgesetzt werden können.
