Abstract

Zusammenfassung Personality matters! Conscientiousness matters! Dies ist aus den theoretischen Erörterungen und den präsentierten empirischen Studien überaus deutlich geworden. Persönlichkeitsmerkmale von Mitarbeitern und Führungskräften üben einen signifikanten Einfluss auf viele wichtige betriebswirtschaftliche Zielgrößen und auf relevante Verhaltensbereiche in Organisationen aus. Oftmals erweist sich dabei gerade das Merkmal „Gewissenhaftigkeit“ innerhalb der Big Five als besonders erklärungsrelevant.
