Abstract

Zusammenfassung Gründerinnen und Gründer benötigen Kapital, um ihre Ideen umsetzen zu können. Während anfangs (zu Beginn der sog. Seed-Phase) noch eigene Mittel oder solche von Familie & Freunden ausreichend sein mögen, stoßen diese mit fortschreitender Umsetzung schnell an ihre Grenzen. Inzwischen existieren jedoch zahlreiche Alternativen für Entrepreneure, bereits in der frühen Phase Kapital zu beschaffen. Dies sind in der Seed-Phase vor allem die zahlreichen Angebote der Gründungsförderung, die von (privaten) regionalen Angeboten über Landesprogramme der öffentlichen Hand bis hin zu Bundes- und EU-Programmen reichen. In der Startup-Phase steigt der Kapitalbedarf mit Markteintritt noch einmal an. Wagniskapital von Business Angels oder Venture-Capital-Gesellschaften, aber auch weitere Förderprogramme der öffentlichen Hand können helfen, den entstehenden Kapitalbedarf zu decken. Ausgehend von den Grundlagen der Gründungsfinanzierung werden die in der Praxis tatsächlich genutzten Finanzierungsquellen einzeln vorgestellt und diskutiert.
