Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Beitrag ‚Management von Start-ups und KMU‘ werden die drei Themenbereiche Start-up, KMU und Management separat betrachtet und in einer übergreifenden Betrachtung schließlich zusammengeführt. So erfolgt in den ersten Teilen die Auseinandersetzung mit der Definition von Start-ups und KMU. Dem folgt eine kurze Betrachtung des Managementbegriffs, bevor synthetisch auf die Zusammenhänge der drei Themenfelder Start-up, KMU und Management eingegangen wird. In diesem Zusammenhang wird aufgezeigt, dass Unternehmen zur gleichen Zeit sowohl Start-up als auch KMU sein können und dass dem Management des Unternehmens jederzeit eine hohe Bedeutung zukommt, unabhängig davon, ob es als Start-up und/oder als KMU einzustufen ist.
