Abstract

Zusammenfassung In guten Zeiten nimmt die Kommunikation eine andere Rolle ein als in schlechten. Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit der Bedeutung von Kommunikation in Zeiten der Krise aufgrund wirtschaftskrimineller Handlungen und Non-Compliance. Die Definition von Begrifflichkeiten sowie die Abgrenzung unterschiedlicher Krisen werden aufgezeigt. Ebenso wird der Lebenszyklus einer Krise dem Zyklus eines Ereignisses aus dem Bereich Wirtschaftskriminalität gegenübergestellt und relevante Erkenntnisse abgeleitet. Der Fokus liegt auf der Kommunikations- und Handlungsfähigkeit von Betroffenen (Unternehmen und Verantwortliche) – mit dem Ziel, auch in Zeiten der Krise die Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten so zu wählen und einzusetzen, dass der Schaden aus einem Ereignis minimiert werden kann.
