Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Mitarbeiterbeteiligung werden eine Vielzahl positiver Effekte auf die Unternehmenseffizienz zugeschrieben. Dieses Kapitel definiert zunächst das Instrument der Mitarbeiterbeteiligung und beantwortet nachfolgend diverse Fragen: Welche Erwartungen bestehen von Seiten der Unternehmen und der Beschäftigten? Welche Unternehmen beteiligen ihre Mitarbeiter? Welche Mitarbeiter nehmen das Angebot wahr? Welche Effekte, positiv wie negativ, schreibt die Wissenschaft der Mitarbeiterbeteiligung zu und welche Effekte finden sich in der Beteiligungspraxis wieder? Ist die Ertragslage von Unternehmen, die Beteiligungsmodelle einsetzen, tatsächlich besser als diejenige von Konkurrenzunternehmen?
