Abstract

Zusammenfassung Aufgrund der ökonomischen Bedeutung von Kundenbewertungen auf die Kaufentscheidung der Konsumenten und damit auf den Umsatz der Leistungsanbieter ist ein latenter Anreiz zum Missbrauch gegeben. Durch gezielte Manipulationen versucht man die eigene oder die Reputation eines Konkurrenten in die intendierte positive oder negative Richtung zu lenken. Wie Abb. 4.1 visualisiert, schaden manipulierte Bewertungen den Betreibern der Bewertungssysteme und den Adressaten von Bewertungen, dies sind zum einen die Verbraucher als Nutzer des Bewertungssystems sowie die direkt von einer Manipulation betroffenen Leistungsanbieter.
