Approaching the Phenomenon: Business Crimes in Space and Time

Abstract

There are several ways to understand business crime, its regulation and prevention. One could start from a normative perspective and present the totality of regulations that characterize this area of crime. Proceeding this way, a possible focus would be on the distribution of competences in criminal procedural law. According to this approach, business (or economic) crimes would be all crimes that fall within the jurisdiction of specialized criminal courts or public prosecutor’s office.
