Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vor allem die großen Plattformen und Online-Händler sowie internationale D2C-Marken sind führend bei der Neuerfindung stationärer Formate. Für jedes dieser Formate bietet sich Machine Learning im stationären Einzelhandel an. Dieses wird am Projektbeispiel ON4OFF vertieft. Wie auch immer Händler mit den Ergebnissen derartiger Zukunftsprojekte umgehen, eines ist klar: Zumindest an digitalen EinzelhandelsiInitiativen mangelt es seit Beginn der Corona-Pandemie jedenfalls nicht. Aber auch vor der Pandemie gab es zahlreiche digitale Einzelhandelsprojekte, von denen die wichtigsten kurz vorgestellt werden. Daraus geht auch hervor, dass stationärer Einzelhandel und Innenstädte eine Schicksalsgemeinschaft sind, weswegen auch das Thema Smart City Relevanz für Intelligent Retail hat. Und was auf der einen Seite die Smart City für Innenstädte bedeutet, ist auf der anderen Seite das intelligente Shoppingcenter auf der grünen Wiese.
