Abstract

Zusammenfassung Durch den gesellschaftlichen Wandel in der Hypermoderne ändert sich die Perspektive auf das, was Sicherheit ist und wie sie gewährleistet werden sollte. Es bilden sich neue Sicherheitserwartungen, die die Strukturen zur vor allem staatlichen Sicherheitsgewährleistung neu ausformen. Vor diesem Hintergrund konzentriert sich die Untersuchung auf eine neue Polizeiarbeit in der Inneren Sicherheit. Durch eine erweiterte, präventive und proaktive Polizei soll eine Neue Sicherheit in und über kommunale Kontexte gewährleistet werden. Damit dies zugleich wirksam und legitim erfolgen kann, sind neue polizeiliche Fähigkeiten, Strategien und Legitimationen gefordert.
