Abstract

Zusammenfassung Polizeiliches Handeln beinhaltet Sprach- und Gewalthandlungen, zwischen denen Polizist*innen dynamisch wechseln müssen und die in Spannung zueinander stehen. Insbesondere in mehrsprachigen Situationen wird sichtbar, dass eine nicht situationsangepasste Auswahl beider Register zu Missverständnissen bei Bürger*innen führen kann. Im polizeilichen Einsatztraining sollte die Vermittlung von Gewaltkompetenz noch stärker durch die Vermittlung von sprachlicher Kompetenz ergänzt werden.
