Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt den Wert der normativen Ethik für die Berufsausbildung der Polizei im Allgemeinen und das Einsatztraining im Besonderen dar. Normative Ethik ist die philosophische Disziplin, die sich im Kern mit der Frage „Was soll ich tun?“ beschäftigt und diese Frage mit einem systematischen Rekurs auf moralische Normen und Werte zu beantworten sucht. Zentrale Normen, Werte, Tugenden und Theorien der Ethik werden konzise präsentiert und ihre Relevanz für das vorliegende Thema unterstrichen. Es wird argumentiert, dass Ethik einen Mehrwert für die Reflexionsexpertise und -kompetenz des Einsatztrainings hat. Anleitende Fragen, die den reflektierten und intersubjektiv gültigen Urteilsbegründungen für Handeln und Unterlassen dienlich sein können, werden formuliert. Es wird empfohlen, dass sich Entscheider*innen, Einsatztrainer*innen und Einsatzkräfte mit Ethik für den Einsatz bzw. für das Einsatztraining auseinandersetzen und Ethik entsprechend in Curricula und im Einsatztraining angemessen berücksichtigen.
