Abstract

Zusammenfassung Obgleich die Notwendigkeit adäquater polizeilicher Konzepte im Umgang mit Aggressionen von Menschen mit psychischen Störungen erkannt wurde, fehlt bislang ein anerkannter und dezidiert empirisch begründeter Ansatz hierzu. Ein unzureichendes Verständnis von Erlebenswirklichkeiten bei unterschiedlichen psychischen Störungsbildern sowie mangelnde Trainingskonzepte begünstigen sowohl Stigmatisierungstendenzen als auch Handlungsunsicherheiten. An dieser Stelle setzt das im Beitrag vorgestellte polizeiliche Einsatzmodell an, welches verschiedene Bedingungen für aggressive Verhaltensweisen im Kontext psychischer Störungen differenziert und in ein interdisziplinär ausgerichtetes Seminarkonzept eingebettet ist. Daran anknüpfend werden Spannungsfelder zu bisherigen Handlungsempfehlungen skizziert und allgemeine Voraussetzungen zur didaktischen Vermittlung aufgezeigt. Zudem sollen Ansatzpunkte für die empirische Beforschung entsprechender Interventionsansätze diskutiert werden.
