Abstract

Zusammenfassung Polizeieinsätze, in denen Menschen mit psychischen Erkrankungen beteiligt sind, gehen mit besonderen Herausforderungen für die Einsatzkräfte einher. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag werden sowohl die Zunahme der Häufigkeit als auch die Anlässe dieser Einsätze vorgestellt. Darüber hinaus wird das subjektive Erleben der beteiligten Einsatzkräfte sowie der Menschen mit psychischen Erkrankungen dargestellt. Zudem wird beispielhaft ein vertiefter Einblick in psychotisches Erleben gegeben, um darüber die Besonderheiten für die Einsatzbewältigung aufzuzeigen. Die besondere Vulnerabilität von Menschen mit psychischen Erkrankungen im Rahmen von Polizeieinsätzen wird als Folge von Stigmatisierungsphänomen diskutiert. Am Beispiel der Schizophrenie wird die verzerrte gesellschaftliche und polizeiliche Wahrnehmung der betroffenen Menschen als gefährlich und unberechenbar beschrieben. Am Ende des Beitrages werden Empfehlungen für Entscheider*innen, Einsatzkräfte und Einsatztrainer*innen vorgestellt.
