Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Treffen von Entscheidungen ist ein zentrales Element beim Führen. Das Entscheiden ist der notwendige Schritt, um von Überlegungen und Ideen zu Handlungen und Konsequenzen zu kommen. Die Kunst beim Entscheiden besteht darin, mit den stets vorhandenen Unsicherheiten richtig umzugehen und aus den stets unvollständigen Informationen ein Maximum an Nutzen zu ziehen. Welche Informationen muss ich mir besorgen, auf welche kann ich verzichten? Wie kann ich das Wissen Anderer für meine Entscheidung nutzen? Wann sollte ich die Entscheidung treffen? Einmal getroffene Entscheidungen müssen natürlich auch umgesetzt werden. Um die Umsetzung sicherzustellen, ist ein Entscheidungscontrolling erforderlich. Was tun, wenn sich die Dinge anders entwickeln als ursprünglich geplant – an der Entscheidung festhalten oder die Entscheidung revidieren? Nach welchen Kriterien sollte ich eine Entscheidung beurteilen, und wie kann ich aus vergangenen Entscheidungen lernen?
