Abstract

Zusammenfassung Aufgrund der Vielzahl von additiven Fertigungsverfahren wird in diesem Kapitel eine Einordnung in unterschiedliche Kategorien vorgenommen. Gegliedert wird dabei in Flüssigmaterialverfahren, Freiraumverfahren und Pulverbettverfahren sowie innerhalb dieser drei Gruppen in weitere Detail-Prozessklassen. Es wird zusätzlich untersucht, welche Materialien von welchem Fertigungsverfahren verarbeitet werden können. Analysiert werden Verfahren für Kunststoffe und Metalle. Nach einer Erläuterung der Prozessabläufe und Funktionsweisen wird detailliert auf die Charakteristika additiver Fertigungsverfahren und -geräte, wie z. B. Material, Bauraumgröße oder Schichtdicke, eingegangen.
