Abstract

Zusammenfassung Viele Akteure setzen als Grundlage einer erfolgreichen Digitalisierung, eine agilen Organisation voraus. Agilität wird als das „Betriebssystem“ der Digitalisierung bezeichnet. „Agil“ ist grundsätzlich ein positiv besetztes Wort, auch den Mitarbeitern wird ein wenig mehr Agilität, ein wenig mehr Feuer nicht schaden, so die nicht ausgesprochene, gleichwohl implizierte Annahme. Wenn etablierte Unternehmen die „Extrameile“ beschwören und auf Start-ups schauen, bei denen kein Betriebsrat die Arbeitnehmerrechte schützt und die Einhaltung des Arbeitszeitgesetzes kontrolliert, sollte ein Unterschied nicht vergessen werden: bei diesen wird nicht Unternehmertum gespielt, sondern gelebt, durch die unmittelbare Beteiligung am Erfolg. Agil ist wer die eigene Haut aufs Spiel setzt. Im Umkehrschluss sind Mitarbeiter eines Unternehmens per Definition nicht agil, was auch für angestellte Manager gilt.
