Abstract

Zusammenfassung Grundvoraussetzung einer erfolgreichen Digitalisierung der Gesundheitsversorgung ist eine schlüssige Strategie. Dies gilt insbesondere für den klinischen Sektor. Deutschland steht mit Blick auf die Entwicklung einer solchen Strategie noch relativ am Anfang. Das im Herbst 2020 vom Deutschen Bundestag beschlossene Krankenhauszukunftsgesetz (KHZG) lässt erstmals eine strategische Vision für die Digitalisierung der stationären Versorgung erkennen. Andere Länder in Europa sind uns auf diesem Feld teilweise mehrere Schritte voraus. Dieser Beitrag liefert einen Einblick in die einschlägigen Aktivitäten von zwei als Vorreiter geltenden europäischen Staaten: Schweden und Dänemark. Daran anknüpfend werden der Hintergrund und die wesentlichen Inhalte des Krankenhauszukunftsgesetzes beleuchtet. Abschließend geht es um die Frage, welche Bedeutung strategische Ansätze für die Digitalisierung der medizinischen und pflegerischen Versorgung haben und was Deutschland von Schweden und Dänemark lernen kann.
