Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die ökonomischen und soziostrukturellen Zukunftsperspektiven eines Standortes werden zu einem nicht unerheblichen Ausmaß durch die Anzahl, die Qualifikationen, die Weiterbildungsbereitschaft und das Weiterbildungsvermögen der künftig für diesen Standort zur Verfügung stehenden Arbeitskräfte determiniert. Um junge, engagierte, talentierte und qualifizierte Menschen in einer Region zu halten, bedarf es zunächst deren Kenntnis bezüglich der regionalen Unternehmen, der dort vorzufindenden Arbeitsplätze und der sich vor Ort ergebenden Chancen. Hieraus ergeben sich vielfältige Einsatzgebiete und Aufgabenfelder für kommunale und regionale Wirtschaftsförderungseinrichtungen und deren Kooperationspartner, beispielsweise den Auf- und Ausbau von Netzwerken mit Schulen, die Etablierung geeigneter Kommunikations-, Interaktions- und Projektplattformen für diesen Themenkomplex und die Aufnahme von Schul- und Schülerprojekten in die kommunalen und regionalen Strategie- und Entwicklungskonzepte.
