Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel werden vier Verfahren zur Erfassung von Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen vorgestellt: das Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument® (HBDI®), das Reiss Motivation Profile® (RMP®), die Trainingsbegleitende Osnabrücker Persönlichkeitsdiagnostik (TOP) und der LINC Personality Profiler (LPP). Die Bezeichnung Inventar wird in diesem Zusammenhang bevorzugt, da es bei diesen psychologischen Verfahren nicht um eine gute oder schlechte Wertung geht, was der Begriff Test gemeinhin konnotiert. Die Anwendung der Inventare im Rahmen eines Auswahlverfahrens ändert daran nichts, da erst eine unpassende Stellenbesetzung ‚schlecht‘ ist. Die vorgestellten Inventare unterscheiden sich teils deutlich bzgl. ihrer wissenschaftlichen Fundierung und Komplexität. Allen Verfahren ist gemein, dass sie innerhalb ihres ‚Marktes‘ gut etabliert sind.
