Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Aufsatz schärft das betriebswirtschaftliche Konzept des „Beratungsorientierten Controllings für den öffentlichen Bereich“ (Müller-Osten et al. Zeitschrift für öffentliche und gemeinwirtschaftliche Unternehmen 41:3–20, 2018): Die disziplinären Grenzen bei der Lösungssuche ökonomischer Kernprobleme einer effizienten Mittelverwendung öffentlicher Ressourcen in einer Demokratie werden aufgezeigt; zugleich werden interdisziplinäre Anknüpfungspunkte angeboten, hier mit beratungswissenschaftlicher Ausrichtung. Ziel ist es, dem Rollenbild des Controllers (Aus Gründen der besseren Lesbarkeit wird auf die gleichzeitige Verwendung der Sprachformen männlich, weiblich und divers (m/w/d) verzichtet. Sämtliche Personenbezeichnungen gelten gleichermaßen für alle Geschlechter.) als Berater (Weber und Schäffer Einführung in das Controlling, 16. Auflage, Schäffer-Poeschel, 482 ff., 2020) im öffentlichen Bereich Kontur zu geben, damit er mit beratungswissenschaftlichen Kompetenzen und Methoden auf eine effiziente Mittelverwendung öffentlicher Ressourcen hinwirken kann.
