Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die zunehmende Digitalisierung und Automatisierung der Unternehmensprozesse im Zuge von Industrie 4.0 haben auch Auswirkungen auf den Einkauf. Obwohl dieser Geschäftsbereich verstärkt durch IT-Projekte fokussiert wird, hinkt er in Bezug auf seine Digitalisierung oftmals anderen Unternehmensfunktionen hinterher. Dabei werden in den nächsten Jahren insbesondere technologische Innovationen die Aufgaben der Beschaffungsmitarbeiter sowie die strategische Ausrichtung des Einkaufs verändern. In diesem Artikel werden daher drei aufstrebende Technologien im Kontext der Beschaffung 4.0 untersucht: Robotic Process Automation (RPA), die Blockchaintechnologie und Anwendungen der künstlichen Intelligenz (KI). Für jede Technologie werden geeignete Anwendungsmöglichkeiten in der Beschaffung identifiziert und damit verbundene Potenziale und Herausforderungen erläutert. Die Bewertung der jeweiligen Eignung erfolgt dabei anhand von einschlägiger Literatur und unter Trennung von strategisch/taktischen und operativen Beschaffungsprozessen. Dieser Artikel bietet sowohl einen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand der Technologien als auch Anknüpfungspunkte für weitere Forschungsarbeiten in diesem Bereich.
