Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Branche der Medizintechnik, der auch Implantattechnologien zuzuzählen sind, ist von hoher Dynamik und Innovationskraft gekennzeichnet. Deutsche Hersteller von Medizintechnik generieren ein Drittel ihres Umsatzes mit relativ neuen Produkten, d. h. solchen, die erst wenige Jahre auf dem Markt sind. Dementsprechend weist die Branche bedeutende Forschungs- und Innovationsaktivitäten auf.
