Abstract

Zusammenfassung Parallel zum Aufkommen der industriellen Produktionslogik und der Dienstleistungswirtschaft hat sich der Bereich des Leaderships als neue Funktion in den Organisationen etabliert und sich zu einem eigenständigen Wissenschaftsbereich und zu einer pointierten Praxis entwickelt. Von einer anfänglich und über viele Jahre hinweg gültige rational-wissenschaftlichen Konzeption des Leaderships ist dieser Bereich durch die gesellschaftlichen und technologischen Veränderungen einem tief greifenden Wandel unterworfen worden, sodass es erforderlich wurde, über neue Leadershipmodelle nachzudenken. Aus dieser Perspektive ist die allgemeine Konzeption des Leaderships dabei sich zu verändern und bedingt neue Aufgaben, Anforderungen, Kompetenzen und Vorgehensweisen, die wir in diesem Kapitel erläutern möchten.
