Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag widmet sich der Frage, wie der Transformationsprozess zu einer auf Nachhaltigkeit bedachten Gesellschaft auf kommunaler Ebene begünstigt werden kann. Ausgehend vom Spannungsverhältnis zwischen dem individuellen Handeln der Bürger und den politisch-rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen, werden anhand von zwei Fallstudien Erfolgsfaktoren für den nachhaltigen Wandel beschrieben. Am Beispiel des Osnabrücker Projekts „Wirtschaftsförderung 4.0“ und der „Münsteraner Strategie für klimaschonende Entscheidungen“ werden kommunale Maßnahmen untersucht, die klimafreundliches Verhalten im Alltag begünstigen.
