Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das vorliegende Kapitel verdeutlicht die Einsatzmöglichkeiten des Logic Models im strategischen Eventmanagement. Das LM ist ein grafisches Wirkungsmodell, welches es erlaubt, Vorhaben und deren erwartete Ergebnisse sowie kurz- und langfristige Auswirkungen in einem übersichtlichen, visuellen Format zu veranschaulichen. Dabei erfüllt es Anforderungen an Prozessorientierung, Handhabbarkeit und Stakeholder-Orientierung. Durch eine Verschiebung der für die eventbezogene Wirkungsforschung typischen „Controller-Perspektive“ vom Beobachten zum Gestalten, ausgehend von den erwünschten Zielen, kann es das betreffende Methodenspektrum des Eventmanagements in sinnvoller Weise ergänzen und eignet sich, im Sinne eines „Meta Modells“, für die Erreichung von Nachhaltigkeitszielen von Sport- und Kulturevents.
