Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wie relevant das Thema Umweltschutz und damit ein „grüner“ Wandel ist, zeigt sich auch in der Hotellerie: Gäste achten zunehmend auf das nachhaltige Engagement ihrer Gastgeber und berücksichtigen deren schonenden Umgang mit Ressourcen. Die BWH Hotel Group Central Europe GmbH betreut rund 300 unabhängige und individuell geführte Hotels – diese zeigen vielseitig, wie sich Umweltschutz in den Hotelalltag integrieren lässt und sogar für die Gäste erlebbar wird. Vom Hühnerhotel des Best Western Plus Ostseehotels Waldschlösschen auf dem Darß bis hin zu einem der größten Solarhotels Deutschlands mit dem Best Western Hotel Schmöker-Hof setzen die individuellen Hotels auf Umweltkonzepte.
