Abstract

Zusammenfassung In dem sich zusehends verschärfenden Klima-Wasser-Energienexus kommt der Weinbranche eine besondere Bedeutung zu: Sie ist vom Klimawandel extrem betroffen, da schon kleine Veränderungen im Wechselspiel von Wasserverfügbarkeit und Temperatur spürbare Auswirkungen auf die Produktionskapazität der Rebflächen und die Qualität der Weine haben. Gleichzeitig trägt die Weinbranche selbst zu diesem Klimawandel und zum Schwinden der Biodiversität und Wasserressourcen bei, da in der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette Energie, Wasser und Rohstoffe verbraucht und durch intensiven Pflanzenschutz Lebensräume von Flora und Fauna zerstört werden. Weine aus der ganzen Welt sind im digitalen oder physischen Warenregal gleichermaßen verfügbar, wobei die damit verbundenen ökologischen und sozialen Konsequenzen gerne ausgeblendet werden.
