Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Baustoff Holz fristet seit der Industrialisierung in Deutschland ein Schattendasein, während er zuvor das meistverwendete Material gewesen ist. Beweise der Nachhaltigkeit beim Holzbau liefern eindrucksvoll viele jahrhundertealte Gebäude in zahlreichen Städten weltweit. Dennoch wurde das Bauen mit Holz in Deutschland im Jahr 2018 lediglich bei ca. zwei Prozent der Mehrfamilienhäuser umgesetzt und beschränkt sich im mehrgeschossigen Wohnungsbau auf einzelne Referenz- und Leuchtturmprojekte.
