Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mit weltweit der zweithöchsten Bevölkerungsdichte schafft es Singapur, einen beträchtlichen Anteil des benötigten Wohnraums durch die öffentliche Behörde für Wohnungsbau Housing and Development Board (HDB) nachhaltig zur Verfügung zu stellen, und verhindert dabei erfolgreich die Gettobildung. Allgemein wird das Singapur-Modell als ein Beispiel der erfolgreichen Wohnraumpolitik im asiatischen Raum betrachtet. In diesem Kapital wird das Singapur-Modell näher beschrieben und anschließend die Rolle der Regulierung analysiert.
