Abstract

Zusammenfassung Media-for-Equity (M4E) hat sich in den letzten Jahren im Bereich der Wachstumsfinanzierung von Business-2-Consumer Unternehmen als wichtige Säule der Unternehmensfinanzierung etabliert. Als spezielle Form des Venture Capital werden dabei Medialeistungen im Austausch für Gesellschaftsanteile erbracht. Primären Fokus nehmen dabei schnellwachsende Unternehmen in der Growth Phase ein, bei denen ein Geschäftsmodell skaliert oder eine Marke neu etabliert werden soll. M4E-Investments bringen steuerliche und rechtliche Besonderheiten mit sich, die es jeweils genau zu betrachten gilt. Vorteile bringt zudem die Nähe zu Corporates und deren spezialisierten Unternehmensbereichen.
