Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag beleuchtet die Frage, wie die stationäre Gesundheitsversorgung in Deutschland bis zum Jahr 2030 gestaltet werden muss, um den Patientennutzen zu erhöhen und einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit knappen Ressourcen zu finden. Am Beispiel des Innovationsfondsprojektes ERIC (Enhanced Recovery after Intensiv Care) entwirft der Beitrag die Zielvorstellung einer gestuften Versorgung, die anhand von bundeseinheitlichen Kriterien zwischen Grund-, Regel- und Maximalversorgern differenziert und diesen eindeutige Versorgungsaufträge zuweist. Die gezielte Kooperation der einzelnen Versorgungsstufen ist somit zentral für die Versorgung der Patientinnen und Patienten. Die Versorgungsqualität in jeder Stufe wird durch verbindliche Qualitätsstandards gesichert und transparent gemacht; Behandlungs- und Versorgungspfade werden integriert betrachtet. Eine so ausgerichtete Versorgung wird den Patientennutzen durch eine Bündelung der Kompetenzen, eine Stärkung der Kooperation und einen neuen Wettbewerb um Qualität erhöhen. Wie die Rahmenbedingungen der Gesundheitsversorgung dafür angepasst werden müssen, skizziert der zweite Teil des Beitrags.
