Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das deutsche Gesundheitswesen zählt zu den besten der Welt. Seine Kliniken stehen allerdings unter immensem Druck und deren wirtschaftliche Lage verschlechtert sich zunehmend. Die Autoren werten vier Studien zur Entwicklung der Krankenhauslandschaft bis ins Jahr 2030 aus und formulieren auf Basis ihrer Kernaussagen eigene Thesen. Demnach werden drei Faktoren das deutsche Krankenhaus zukünftig prägen: die Spezialisierung, die Privatisierung und die Digitalisierung.
