Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die wachsende Besorgnis der Öffentlichkeit über den Klimawandel hat dazu geführt, dass in den letzten Jahren ökologische, soziale und Governance-bezogene Faktoren (ESG) zunehmend in die Investitionspolitik eingeflossen sind. Regulierungsbehörden auf europäischer und nationaler Ebene haben Vorschriften entwickelt, die von institutionellen Anlegern mehr Transparenz über die Auswirkungen von Investitionsentscheidungen auf ESG-Faktoren verlangen. Um die Bewertung und Vergleichbarkeit zu fördern, hat die EU ein umfassendes Regelwerk, mit entsprechenden Anforderungen erarbeitet. Inzwischen haben Dienstleistungsunternehmen in der Investmentfondsindustrie auf Basis dieses Regelwerks Lösungen für die Bereitstellung von ESG-Klima-Daten entwickelt, mit denen institutionelle Investoren und Kapitalgesellschaften die mit ihrer jeweiligen Anlagepolitik verbundenen Risiken am besten messen und auf gesetzliche Vorgaben reagieren können.
